LINGLE – Lingle-Fort Laramie junior Kaelyn Riley and sophomore Ashley Riley were both named all-conference after both averaged more than seven points per game this winter.
Ashley Riley played in all 23 games this winter, one of only two Lady Doggers to do so. In her time on the floor, she racked up 7.6 points, 3.7 boards, 2.3 assists and 2.2 steals per game. Her steals topped the team state sheet and she was second in assists. Riley had eight games where she scored in double-figures, including a 21-point game on Jan. 26 and a 22-point game on Feb. 2.
Kaelyn Riley missed the first part of the season due to a wrist injury, but still played 17 games this winter. She averaged 7.6 points, 4 boars, 1.2 assists and 1.6 steals throughout the seaso. On the glass, she was fourth on the team in rebounding, while sitting third in both assists and steals. The junior had a 20-point game of her own on Feb. 23 against Midwest at the 1A East Regional Tournament.
In the 1A Southeast conference, the Doggers sat third with three all-conference honorees. Rock River had the most, with four, while Hanna-Elk Mountain kicked in another three. Guernsey-Sunrise had the final all-conference player.
